Treatment of hair loss by applying PRP with photo activation at Capital Clinic Riga

For activating of PRP you can use 10% calcium chloride (CaCl), thrombin or light that initiates coagulation cascade and more than 70% of growth factors are released from alpha granules within first 10 minutes. After activating of plasma fibrin matrix is formed. Depending on the activation mechanism there can be rapid or gradual release of growth factors. Main element of PRP photo activation is Adi-Light device which uses low intensity light of certain frequencies to increase secretion of various anti-inflammatory and healing agents from thrombocytes.
